most expensive went in for a routine cleaning had a flyer coupon {useless} for a cleaning never got it all xrays 270.00 didnt understand but paid it. if you go into this office do not get anything extra try to sell you on extra things...compare your pricing!!!!
Dr. Schimenti is awesome!! This is the most thorough exam I have ever had. I felt important and not like just a "number". They participate with my insurance AND also offer discount plans for some my family that don't have the insurance coverage (which is so helpful). I had to have a crown and even the temporary was perfect! You are made to feel like family from the moment you walk in; there's snacks, coffee, a nice tv area and even toys for the kids. If you need a caring, well priced, all around great family dentist-this is the place to go!!!
I've never had a worse dental experience than with this place. The assistants are great but the dentist is awful. I'll probably need a root canal at this point because of their incompetence. I would not recommend this place to ANY ONE. Save yourself money and go somewhere else!!!!
My wife and I went in with a coupon for initial new patient cleaning exam and x-rays. The entire time I was in there I felt like I was being "hustled". I was told I needed thousands of dollars of dental work even though my previous dentist saw nothing just six months before. They up-sell you on treatments like "oral cancer screening", which should be part of the regular exam. They also try to sell you on fluoride treatments, etc. I was told I had crowns that were suspect and should be removed, even though they have caused me no problems or have any evidence of decay. I would recommend staying far far away from this office.
Tomoka Dental has been great! Some of the staff has changed from a year ago, so if you weren't happy, please try them again! Dr. Schimenti is the best dentist around. I have had veneers and bonding done on my front teeth, 3 other times at other dental offices and they never look right in color or shape. Since I liked Dr. Schimenti, I decided to redo my 2 front veneers. I am finally happy with my teeth and smile! The color and shape is perfect yet natural looking. No more self conscious smile! The hygienists do a great job as well.
